SAP Readiness Check

SAP Readiness Check is a self-service diagnostic that scans an existing SAP ECC or S/4HANA system and reports the simplification items, custom-code conflicts, and sizing changes a customer will hit before converting or upgrading to a target S/4HANA release. SAP has run the tool since May 2017 and has extended it since with add-on checks such as Financial Data Quality in 2020 and, more recently, business-AI capability coverage, delivered through SAP for Me and SAP Cloud ALM. It is bundled with an active SAP support contract rather than sold separately, and it produces a planning report only — it does not execute the conversion or perform any code remediation itself.
