Snowflake SnowConvert is an automated code-conversion tool that migrates schema, SQL code, and ETL/BI logic from legacy platforms (including Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, and other data warehouses) onto Snowflake. The tool originated at Mobilize.Net, which Snowflake agreed to acquire in January 2023 and closed the purchase the following month, bringing SnowConvert's engineering team and IP in-house. Snowflake relaunched the product as SnowConvert AI in June 2025, adding agentic, AI-assisted conversion and validation on top of the original rule-based converter, and offers it to customers at no charge.
