thoughtbot

thoughtbot is a Rails consultancy that maintains open-source Rails tooling. Its FactoryBot repository describes a library for setting up Ruby objects as test data; the repository is not archived and shows recent activity as of October 6, 2026. That is evidence of open-source testing tooling, not of a delivered Rails upgrade, so ask thoughtbot directly which Rails versions it currently upgrades and for a comparable upgrade example.
