Nutanix Move

Nutanix Move is Nutanix's free VM migration tool that replicates running virtual machines from VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or AWS EC2 into Nutanix AHV, or back out again, without changing the guest OS or the application. Nutanix shipped the product in 2017 as Xtract for VMs; version 3.0, released in March 2019, renamed it Move and rearchitected the migration agents to run as Docker containers. Move performs an initial data seed followed by incremental replication, then triggers a short per-VM cutover window, and it works alongside Nutanix's related database-migration tooling for database-only moves.
