Azure Migrate

Azure Migrate is Microsoft's free assessment and migration hub for discovering on-premises servers, SQL Server databases and web apps, mapping their dependencies, and assessing Azure readiness and sizing before a workload moves. Microsoft announced general availability, at no additional charge, on February 28, 2018, and has since added database, web-app and virtual-desktop support and an Azure Copilot migration agent (in preview). The service does not charge for discovery or assessment; customers pay for the Azure resources the migrated workloads use, and partner tools launched from the hub may charge.

Azure Migrate is not a mainframe tool. Microsoft's documentation lists servers, SQL Server databases, web apps, virtual desktops and bulk data transfer as supported workloads, and Microsoft's separate mainframe guidance covers rehosting, COBOL-to-Java migration and partner offerings.
